CredaStamp

Browser-only file integrity proof

Tamper-evident proof records for important files.

CredaStamp creates a cryptographic integrity record for a file so the same file can later be verified without uploading or storing the document.

Create a proof record

Select a file below. CredaStamp computes the file’s SHA-256 hash locally in your browser and generates a proof record you can save with the file.

Privacy note: Your file is processed locally in your browser. CredaStamp does not upload, transmit, or store the file.

CredaStamp does not certify the truth, legality, authorship, or authenticity of document contents. It verifies whether a file matches a previously generated cryptographic integrity record.

Select or drop a file

No file selected

Select a file to generate a browser-only proof record.

No file upload

Files are hashed locally using browser cryptography. The document does not need to leave the user’s device.

Tamper-evident record

The proof record captures the file hash, timestamp, file metadata, and verification notes in a portable JSON record.

Independent verification

A later verifier can compare the file against the proof record to determine whether the file still matches.

How CREDAStamp works

  1. Select a file from your device.
  2. CREDAStamp computes a SHA-256 hash locally in the browser.
  3. A proof record is generated as JSON.
  4. Save the proof record with the file or case record.
  5. Later, use the Verify page to confirm whether the file still matches.

CREDAStamp is designed for simple document integrity workflows where the question is: does this file match the proof record created earlier?
